The Principal is responsible for overseeing all educational programs of the school within the parameters of the OCS Constitution. The principal will call a meeting when he/she requires society input.
Human Resources Committee:
The Human Resources committee is responsible for the hiring and dismissal matters pertaining to the teachers and Principal. The Human Resources Committee works within the parameters of the OCS Constitution and is directly accountable to the Board.
Contract Partnership Committee:
The Contract Partnership committee has the primary responsibility of developing teacher contract arrangements and recommending the same to the Board each school year.
The Finance committee has the primary responsibility of taking care of the financial health of the school.
The Fundraising committee has the primary responsibility of overseeing the fundraising projects of the school.
Marketing & Community Relations:
The Principal is responsible for designing and implementing activities that promote the school to the broader community.
Events & Hospitality Committee:
The Events & Hospitality Committee has the primary responsibility of building community within the school body and assisting with events that promote the school.
Membership & Nomination Committee:
Membership & Nominations Committee has the primary responsibility of interviewing new members and suggesting names for Board nominations. Student Admissions is the responsibility of the Principal with the Board's direction.
Building/Grounds, Health & Safety:
is under the oversight of the Principal and shall concern itself with all the phases of the proper care, maintenance, and adequacy of the physical equipment of the school and make recommendations to the Board concerning these matters.
