Jenn Birnie - Junior Kindergarten
As the JK teacher, I cannot wait to explore with my students the world God has created through their perspective.
I am thankful for the educational journey that has brought me to this point. I grew up in Barrie and attended both Laurentian University and York University locally. I have my B.A. in English Literature and my B.Ed. with Primary/Junior qualifications. I also recently earned my Editing certificate online through Simon Fraser University. I have previous experience working for the Simcoe County District School Board and the Christian organization Empower Ministries. I have always had a passion for education and am thankful for how God has opened the door for me to return to teaching.
My prayer for each JK student that enters my classroom is that while they are learning their letters and numbers, they will also understand who God is and how much He loves them.
